At the age of 44, Jorge Gonzalez, who was one of the most popular former superstars in both WCW and the WWF, sadly passed away today. He was one of the tallest men in wrestling history to ever compete in the squared circle. Jorge Gonzalez passed away in Argentina, where he was born. It is still unknown why he passed away at such a young age, but it is clear that the former superstar knew that his end was coming near, as he headed back towards his homeland.

After many years of building his athletic career firstly as a basketball player for the NBA and secondly as a wrestler, Jorge Gonzalez will be missed most definitely by not only his fans but by the fellow wrestling professionals in the industry.
