The Thrill of Youth Wrestling

I grew up in a house with two older brothers that were twice my size and a little sister who seemed to think she was twice my size. With that many kids in one house it just seemed necessary some times to take our aggressions out on each other. This usually happened in the form of a pile of children pulling, pinching, biting, and throwing each other all over the living room floor. Back then that was more of what most parents called "horse play." I always enjoyed it and got a great workout from it. Little did I know, our horse play sessions could have been something much more.
Youth wrestling is what you get when you take a bunch of rowdy kids and coach them to take each other down more efficiently and properly defend themselves on the mat. You can take a wimpy little sprout and turn him into a lean, mean wrestling machine. In the end you get a youth who's more active, social, and disciplined. Youth wrestling is becoming more and more popular and is as much a thrill to watch as it is for the youngsters who participate.
