Lucha Libre: The Newest Wrestling Game
For decades now the professional wrestling video game market has been cornered by the big brands like WWF, WCW, and ECW. Now, however, wrestling from south of the border is rising up to be the next champion in the video game ring. The newest wrestling game published by Japanese game publisher Konami is called Lucha Libre: AAA Heroes of the Ring. Classy title, isn't it?
Lucha Libre will feature a wrestling experience that can only be found in Mexico and other Spanish-speaking countries. You'll get to play as several different masked luchedors in high boots and tight trousers. You'll be pulling off several grapples, takedowns, and high-flying moves from the top of the turnbuckles.
Luche Libre is still in development but will soon be available on both Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360. A trailer has already been released on various gaming websites for those who want to check it out. One thing is for sure: Lucha Libre is sure to put wrestling fans back in the action.
